QUICK & EFFECTIVE – BEGIN YOUR VISIT VISA APPLICATION TODAY
If your intention is to travel to a foreign country for tourism, business purposes, or simply to visit friends and family, you must initiate the process of applying for a visit visa. Based on the purpose of your visit, you will typically have to apply for either a tourist visa or a business visa.
Tourist Visas
Tourist visas are issued to individuals desiring to explore a foreign country, be it for vacation or sightseeing. These visas usually have a restricted validity period and do not permit visitors to engage in any business activities while within the host country. Nonetheless, the application process, eligibility criteria, and the required documentation can vary from one country to another.
Business Visas
Business visas, on the other hand, are ideal for those looking to conduct client meetings, attend conferences, visit on-site locations, or partake in sales meetings. In most cases, business visas grant you the ability to:
-
- Stay within the country for an extended period
-
- Undertake commercial and financial transactions
-
- Establish temporary offices
-
- Travel freely within the host country
Top Choices for International Visits
Schengen Visa
Should your travel plans include a visit to Europe, acquiring a Schengen visa will be a necessity. The Schengen Visit visa extends an invitation to nationals from non-European countries, allowing them to explore Schengen countries in Europe for a maximum of 90 days within a span of six months.
This visa is recognized and accepted in all European countries that are part of the Schengen agreement. Essentially, it serves as a temporary visa for individuals keen on exploring European countries within the Schengen zone.
Non-European nationals can reside in Schengen nations for up to 90 days during the six-month period covered by the visa. It’s crucial to note that, for each Schengen nation to be visited, a separate visa application is often necessary. Ideally, the visa application process should commence three months before the intended travel date, ensuring a smooth travel experience.
US B1/B2 Visa
When planning a vacation to the United States or a visit to friends and family, securing a US visit visa, namely the B1 visa for business purposes, or the B2 visa for tourists, becomes imperative. The B-2 visa is a non-immigrant visa specifically designed for tourists looking to explore the United States for a limited duration.
Holders of both B1 and B2 visas can partake in various activities while in the United States, including:
-
- Touring the country for leisure
-
- Exploring numerous cities
-
- Paying visits to friends and family
-
- Seeking medical treatment if required
UK Standard Visitor Visa
The UK Standard Visitor Visa, commonly known as the Standard Visitor Visa, serves as the primary choice for individuals intending to visit the UK. This visa category has effectively replaced several earlier UK visa types, including the Family Visitor visa, General Visitor visa, Child Visitor visa, Business Visitor visa, Sports Visitor visa, Entertainer Visitor visa, Prospective Entrepreneur visa, and Private Medical Treatment Visitor visa.
The UK Standard Visitor Visa permits a stay of up to six months. For those in the UK for private medical treatment, the visa can be extended with the payment of additional fees. Furthermore, if the visit pertains to an academic program, it is possible to request an extension. In the case of long-term stays, a Standard Visitor Visa with a duration of 2, 5, or 10 years can be obtained, with each visit allowing a maximum stay of 6 months.
Australia Visit Visa
Australia provides a range of visit visas catering to the specific purpose of your visit. Applications can be made under various Subclasses such as 600, 601, 651, 444, 461, 417, and 462, tailored to individuals, friends, and business travelers.
-
- Tourist Visitor: This option is ideal for individuals seeking leisure travel or visits to friends and relatives in Australia. It is open to applicants worldwide.
-
- Business Visitor: Designed for businesspeople who require short-term travel for business purposes, negotiations, or event attendance. Applications for this visa must be submitted outside Australia.
-
- Sponsored Family Visitor: Applicable to family members who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents and are sponsored for a visit by an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
General Requirements
A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the travel date is mandatory. A photocopy of the passport’s bio page and a copy of round-trip tickets should be included with the application. Proof of financial resources through the latest bank statement, along with an invitation letter from the overseas sponsor, friend, or family member, must be submitted. Additionally, the sponsor’s financial statement from the foreign country and a copy of the sponsor’s passport may be necessary. In cases of individuals married to an overseas national, a marriage certificate is required, and for minors, their parents’ birth certificates and marriage certificates should be included.
